Mahler minus you

Let's stay honest: many singers may be called, but few are chosen to get their deserved chance to sing Mahler's orchestrated lieder cycles, his "Lied von der Erde” or the vocal movements from symphony no. 2 - 4 with authentic orchestral accompaniment, let alone getting this possibility at any time or place – for rehearsing purposes, but why not for concerts or recordings? – anyway: Here (and to my knowledge ONLY here) you get this possibility !
From the summer of 2016 to January of the year 2018, I have spent my time creating purely instrumental playbacks using the unmatched authentic and varied sampled instruments of Vienna Symphonic Library® for devoting to anything Gustav Mahler ever composed for solo voice and orchestra.

What exactly arose by taking care of any orchestral score detail and agogic, tonal or dynamic nuance, you can imagine best, if you take a bit of leisure for your ramble through the extended audio samples which are waiting to be peered by you in/as numerous Youtube videos: A mouse click on any blue line in the following list should lead you to the respective title...

(By the way - do not allow some possibly occurring slight crackling noise to spoil your enjoyment: The complete tracks, which you will be able to download for a fair price as wav files, will always be of impeccable sound quality !

For certain titles (i.a. "Der Abschied") it will be useful to command a version with metronome clicks too. For best quality I use to send wav files via "". In addition some of my tracks are available as sheet videos.

In the list above there's always a number at the end of each line which shows the rounded playing time of each track:

As I would like you to compile your own personal selection and to calculate the costs without coping with higher mathematics, please just keep in mind that I decided to charge a price of about 0,50 € (~ 0,60 $) per minute, but I'm free to offer individual conditions even including gratis tracks. So best thing to do will always be getting directly in touch with me: I'm looking forward to receiving your mail to

Recording some of Mahler's lieder using my orchestral playbacks as accompaniment, the Argentinean tenor Gustavo Monastra (* 1974)  is the first singer of distinction having discovered my work for his interpretation. Currently that is:
There's also a video uniting these 12 lieder.

And you can find them in the Internet Archive.

I have to confess the name of Monastra had not been a concept to me, nor was I aware of the fact that a Monastra recording of the
"Revelge" using my piano accompaniment was existing. The beginning of a new era within my project is some day in the summer of 2016 when I decided to devote to the orchestral versions. Even I myself had almost forgotten the fact that I had already recorded and published some of the piano accompaniments then..

Since april 2017 some (16) of my orchestral playbacks are also offered for purchase in a special interactive file format by SMARTSOLOIST (Massachusetts).

The clou is: Loading such a file into the "smartsoloist" software, you as the singer will be enabled to easily design and then save every detail and shading of your own tempo, just as if you were the conductor.  Availabe on at present:
