mahler minus you

A big welcome to all classical singers!
You've found the best (and so far only) place for authentic orchestral accompaniments ("minus" singing) to the entirety of Mahler's works for voice and orchestra.
There are 45 orchestral accompaniment tracks available for download purchase as wav files (for a total of more than 4 hours of playing time).
I created them using highly authentic sounding digitally sampled instruments from the Vienna Symphonic Library®. It is important to note that these are NOT midi files!  I spent over 2 years making them sound exactly like real orchestral recordings, with careful attention to details on the score, including all sorts of playing techniques and nuances of expression, dynamics and tempo...
The listed selections are linked to Youtube samples for a portion of the work only.
(Unintentional occasional crackling sounds do not occur in the full versions !)
The cost of each accompaniment reflect its time duration (at approximately 0,50 € or 0.60 $ per minute).
Customized keys, or versions with metronome clicks to assist with learning, are available on request as well.
The accompaniments can be used for rehearsal, but are of sufficiently high quality to also be suitable for performances.
I'm looking forward to receiving your email to discuss your choices at
After payment has been received via Paypal, you will receive an email back from me containing a link enabling you to download your accompaniments.
Please note that you will need to accept a license agreement stating that you are allowed to use any of the purchased tracks for public performances and/or recordings, even commercially, provided that my participation is adequately acknowledged and each track is inseparable from the complete and well audible vocal part. However, it is strictly forbidden to pass any of the files to third parties, as long as they are instrumental and not yet combined with their complete vocal parts. In so far you do not purchase objects changing hands, but just untransferable personal licenses.  I'm also free to offer you individual conditions, even including free tracks.
The normal price for the tracks is about a half Euro per minute. To learn more, please download the following PDF...

Let's stay honest: many singers may be called, but few are chosen to get their deserved chance to sing Mahler's orchestrated lieder cycles, his "Lied von der Erde” or the vocal movements from symphony no. 2 - 4 with authentic orchestral accompaniment, let alone getting this possibility at any time or place – for rehearsing purposes, but why not for concerts or recordings? – anyway: Here (and to my knowledge ONLY here) you get this possibility !
From the summer of 2016 to January of the year 2018, I have spent my time creating purely instrumental playbacks using the unmatched authentic and varied sampled instruments of Vienna Symphonic Library® for devoting to anything Gustav Mahler ever composed for solo voice and orchestra.

What exactly arose by taking care of any orchestral score detail and agogic, tonal or dynamic nuance, you can imagine best, if you take a bit of leisure for your ramble through the extended audio samples which are waiting to be peered by you in/as numerous Youtube videos: A mouse click on any blue line in the above list should lead you to the respective title.

(By the way - do not allow some possibly occurring slight crackling noise to spoil your enjoyment: The complete tracks, which you will be able to download for a fair price (mostly 0,50 € or 0,60 $ per minute) as wav files, will always be of impeccable sound quality ! The above links should lead you directly to the related title (long excerpt) within one of my largest Youtube videos presenting the Mahler project.

Of course the whole repertoire is destined to be available in full length and in various keys/registers by request. If wished each title is available in any preferred tonality. For certain titles (e.g. "Der Abschied") it will be useful to command a version with metronome clicks too. For best quality I provide the ordered tracks as wav files. When paid you get a mail containung a link which enables you to download them. Please note that I'll have to ask you to accept a license agreement saying:

You're allowed to use any of the purchased tracks for public performances and/or recordings even commercially, provided that my participation is adequately acknowledged and each track is unseparable from the complete and well audible vocal part. However, it is strictly forbidden to pass any of the files to third parties, as long as they are instrumental and not yet combined with their complete vocal parts. In so far you do not purchase objects changing hands, but just untransferable personal licenses.

I'm free to offer individual conditions even including gratis tracks.

A fine example of a singer using my orchestral accompaniments is provided by the Argentinean tenor Gustavo Monastra (* 1974). Please listen to him here:
______________
I have to confess the name of Monastra had not been a concept to me, nor was I aware of the fact that a Monastra recording of the
"Revelge" using my piano accompaniment was existing. The beginning of a new era within my project is some day in the summer of 2016 when I decided to devote to the orchestral versions. Even I myself had almost forgotten the fact that I had already recorded and published some of the piano accompaniments then..
